Brakel Wall Systems originated from Brakel Hilversum BV. Brakel Hilversum, founded in 1945, started out as a bodywork and machine repair company. In 1963 the activities shifted to the production of workbenches and tool cabinets. Finally, in the early 1970s, the step was taken towards the production of movable metal partition walls. In 2005, there was a radical reorganization and the production of previously three locations was centralized in the factory in Hilversum. To date, the production of partition walls, system cabinets, fire fronts, mobile panel walls and custom-made furniture takes place entirely in Hilversum.

However, all components can also be used separately.
