ILBAGNOALESSI One is a bathroom design that has enchanted the home design world for years: It is characterized by a timeless shape, sparkling fantasy and a touch of eccentricity. This design award winning ensemble is the creation of the Italian star designer, Stefano Giovannoni.
The ceramic elements of a bathroom are considered to determine the style of the bathroom - in the case of ILBAGNOALESSI One, they play a uniquely dominant role in bathroom design: The visual anchor and key design element of ILBAGNOALESSI One is the floor-standing washbasin, affectionately named Tam-Tam. - by its resemblance to a drum. Molded in one piece, this organic shaped ceramic item is one of the most impressive ceramic bathroom products on the market today - with a Design Plus award to prove it. The design of the LAUFEN Palomba Collection recalls small coves or pebbles formed by the eternal movement of the sea, expertly converted into ceramics. All elements of the collection are in harmony with each other as each of them bears the signature of the Italian designer duo, Ludovica + Roberto Palomba.
Nevertheless, the character of the design has not been precisely defined, but hovers between geometric and organic shapes. The underlying concept is the man-made cube, hollowed out and rounded off by the elemental force of water - the sea as an inspiring force. However, the washbasins, baths, shower trays, toilets, bidets and furniture of the Palomba Collection do not achieve the absolute status of a fully integrated bathroom. True to the spirit of the collection, these design objects lend themselves to exciting combinations: both within the collection and with LAUFEN products of a matching design. A stream of new design solutions, an addition to the Palomba Collection.

This family business has left its mark on design history in its more than 60 years of existence and radically changed furniture with the use of plastic materials. On the other hand, Laufen: Swiss, sleek and reliable. With over 125 years of dedication to bathroom culture and innovation in ceramic sanitary ware manufacturing. As both companies attach great importance to continuous research, the joint development of this great innovation project took more than three years. The link between these two players is award-winning designers Ludovica + Roberto Palomba, themselves leaders in bathroom design.
The sleek geometry of the ceramic items is softened by the multicolored lightness of the transparent plastic elements. Kartell by Laufen leaves primary colors and adds colorful, light horizons to that space in the house where the senses surrender to the emotions. In the new Kartell by Laufen bathroom, the revolutionary SaphirKeramik is introduced, a material that enables a completely new design. Washbasins with a maximum radius of 2-3 millimeters in the corners (until now this was 7-8 millimeters) are wafer-thin and extremely light, not only in terms of appearance, but also in terms of weight - SaphirKeramik is half as heavy as normal ceramics - and has an unparalleled mechanical resistance. A progressive, scratch-resistant material that resists the effects of the chemicals in cleaning agents and limescale.

In addition to large washbasins that can be cut to size, Laufen now also offers several washbasins in standard sizes and expert solutions for palace washbasins and guest bathrooms. The Swiss designer of LAUFEN pro, Peter Wirz, from design studio Vetica has designed a bathroom line that optimally meets the requirements of the ceramic manufacturing process. This line proves that minimalist shapes, high quality and optimal functionality do not have to be expensive if they are well thought out. LAUFEN pro's democratic design is the modern answer to the requirement that everyone has the right to beautiful shapes.
LAUFEN pro is divided into two product lines: A and B. A stands for the design line with architectural ambitions, B stands for a baseline in the LAUFEN pro collection. A total of 34 washbasins, 18 WCs, bidets and matching bathtubs - not to mention the exclusive LAUFEN pro furniture line - can be combined with each other and offer smart solutions for all purposes and situations. In order to be able to design a bathroom that is written on the skin of children, the Swiss bathroom specialist Laufen, together with designer Andreas Dimitriadis (platinum design), dived back into their own childhood.
On their knees they went on a voyage of discovery to find out what a bathroom looks and feels like at a child's height: inaccessible washbasins with sides that only hit your head. Toilets like impregnable fortresses with terrifying depths. Your toothbrush and hairbrush are at dizzying, inaccessible heights and only Mom and Dad can see themselves in the mirror.
