RoosRos stands for Respectful Stewardship. We feel responsible for a living and working environment that contributes to people's happiness and well-being. Not only today but also tomorrow. For current en future generations. It is not for nothing that we work from the Respectful Stewardship vision. We feel, especially in our profession, the best efforts obligation to maintain and leave behind the world as best as possible. Our mission has been translated into our vision: healthy and future-oriented design.

Our mission of respectful stewardship is developed along two lines: healthy and future-oriented. In our projects we work from a number of clear design principles.

Healthy
Man is born to live outdoors. Yet we spend on average 90% of our time in buildings. Healthy buildings that contribute to the well-being of users and residents are therefore essential. Buildings in which people feel good, and which are actually healthy. RoosRos designs healthy buildings. Comfortable and easy to use. With daylight, a view and contact between inside and outside. We take into account the properties of materials, the experience with (climate) installations and their effects on the perception of the space. We delve into the health aspects of people, the influence our buildings have on this and investigate how we can apply this in our designs.

Future-oriented
A building with future value is a building that is healthy and future-oriented. It is energy efficient, has a minimal impact on the environment and can flexibly adapt to changes. We give buildings a clear, generic basic design. In this way, we ensure that they can be given a different function relatively easily in the future. The greater the ability to adapt, transform and integrate and expand, the more sustainable.
We make buildings intrinsically sustainable. We deal with passive energy, detailing and choice of materials in a sober, well-considered way. We reuse as many products and raw materials as possible. Think of cycles in the field of energy, water, materials and waste. But also the use of residual flows and the use of local and renewable products as much as possible.
Design Principles
In practice, our vision translates into three design principles that are reflected in our projects.
-
Realize that the living environment shapes people
-
Design focused on the future
-
Handle matters that may arise responsibly
We are going circular
RoseRos has it'Manifesto Circular Architecture' of the BNA signed. It explains five basic design principles that contribute to a circular economy. We accept the challenge to contribute to the ambition to have a circular built environment in the Netherlands by 2050.
