VAN AKEN stands for integral architectural concepts. Architects, engineers and project managers work together in enthusiastic teams on assignments that vary from urban studies to housing and from healthcare to offices and data centers. The lifespan of a building is also important. We have a pragmatic view of the future. That is why we build up our designs as layered as possible. We structure these layers according to their lifespan.

Sustainable architecture also means that users appropriate a building. This is not possible without good communication between all stakeholders. For us, a dialogue between stakeholders and stakeholders at an early stage of the design is a precondition for a sustainable result.

The built environment has a major impact on our society. As an architectural firm, we therefore have a responsibility to society.
