Since its foundation in 1982, KOSTER AG has specialized in the development and production of high-quality sealing systems as well as providing advice in the field of moisture control. Today, Köster is a group of more than 20 companies operating in more than 50 countries worldwide. The head office is located in Aurich, Germany. Köster Sealing Systems in Harderwijk is the oldest partner of Köster and has the sales rights for the Benelux and France.

Köster concrete injection - Crack injection systems
Cracks occur when the forces acting in a building component, i.e. stresses, are greater than those of the resistance of the building component.
As a result, if the building part cracks, the resulting stresses are reduced. Compared to the compressive strength, the tensile strength of concrete is relatively low. This applies in particular to fresh concrete. Most cracks are therefore caused by tensile or bending forces. There are several causes that lead to cracking in a building component:

crack formation due to weight, for example transport or the building's own weight.

crack formation due to shrinkage, concrete shrinks during hardening due to heat development.

crack formation due to movements in the subsoil, settlement, groundwater fluctuations.

Köster's concrete injection program consists of 6 polyurethane resins that offer a sure solution for all occurring cases. During the development of these injection resins, a great deal of attention has been paid to the simple processing and the sustainable operation of the product. In addition to crack injection, our program can also seal gravel nests, wall/floor connections and leaking sheet piles. Moisture control in a modern and effective way.
Köster Concrete Repair and Concrete Renovation Systems
Damage to concrete building parts must be repaired as soon as possible with a carefully executed treatment. A treatment that should restore the original properties. Exposed reinforcing steel must be properly treated to prevent corrosion.

The combination of our damp-proofing systems, our Polyurethane and Epoxy resins for concrete injection and surface treatment bring the KÖSTER Concrete Repair Program to the highest possible level.

In the case of minor concrete repairs and maintenance: a quick and easy solution is Köster Betomor Multi A. Köster Betomor Multi A is a material for corrosion protection and concrete renovation in one. An additional preservation of the reinforcing steel is not necessary, Multi A already contains the rust primer! KÖSTER Betomor Multi A replaces the binder, the repair mortar and the fine plaster. The material is applied to a prepared, stable substrate that must also be free of solvents and rust. Maintenance of the concrete surface is done with Köster Betonspachtel. Köster Betonspachtel is a high-quality leveling plaster for concrete surfaces.

Köster White Roof Coating - highly reflective and energy-saving

Köster 21 White Roof Coating is a white liquid roofing material, especially intended for treating black flat roofs that absorb too much heat.
Due to the roof material used (black bitumen, etc.), too much heat is stored in the roof construction, which creates an unpleasant indoor climate. With this easy-to-apply white roof coating, the sun's rays are reflected and the substructure will be heated up considerably less.
Köster Vloercoating Systemen
Het is niet meer dan logisch dat beton exclusief als vloer wordt toegepast in zowel kelders, garages, bedrijfsvloeren, winkels, magazijnen en fabrieken. Het is een van de weinige materialen die duurzaam opgewassen is tegen zwaar verkeer, slijtage, chemicaliën, en vocht.
Echter betonnen vloeren zijn van zichzelf niet onkwetsbaar. Zonder behandeling met een betoncoating kan het relatief poreuze materiaal dat beton is bezwijken aan veelvuldig gebruik en belasting. Voorbeelden zijn heftruck verkeer, blootstelling aan chemicaliën & dooizouten, veelvuldig contact met water.
In deze fase komen de Köster vloercoatings in beeld, waardoor het beton net die extra beschermlaag krijgt om bestendig te zijn tegen slijtage en veroudering.
Tevens kan de Köster vloercoating, naast de beschermende werking, zorgen voor een
decoratieve afwerking, eenvoudiger onderhoud of een antislip afwerking.
